I had an affair with my husband's friend that ended my marriage

For the longest time, we were doing great. Like, happy, content, what have you. I moved from several states away to be with him so i never really made my own friends, but thats ok, he even liked me hanging out with his friends and him.

But then the promotion came, and he had to travel more for work. I told him I would be fine, that I could handle it, we would make up for the time apart the weeks he was home.

Except, no, it turns out, I couldn't handle it. I tried to be ok with a phone call each night and texts but... I just couldn't anymore. So I did a dumb thing. I called one of his friends. Absolutely bawling my eyes out over the phone. Told him I didnt want to be alone anymore.

So he came over. And he sat with me. He listened. He held me. He legitimately seemed to care for me. We both fell asleep together on the couch (nothing happened).

But... I asked him to come over again the next night. I was way more together this time. And I wanted to thank him. And... well, he seemed ok with it. We didnt really sleep much that night.

This turned into me spending nights at his place. He said it felt wrong being at our place (weird place to draw the line but whatever). I even got a key from him.

And let me tell you, I did things with this man I would never consider doing with my husband. I told him everything. All my dreams. My desires. What felt good, what didnt. My fantasies...

Which, it turns out, he listened very well to.
