Christine and Family in NC: I spy

As someone who’s watched this show since day one and gone down every deep-dive analysis and sociological rabbit hole, I felt weirdly compelled to go watch from afar when Christine had a book signing in my neighborhood tonight.

I didn’t pay, didn’t want the photo or the book. I just watched.

I saw David, Paedon (holding a baby, maybe Maddie’s?), Tony, Mykelti and their kids running around the store. I caught a glimpse of Janelle long enough to think, “that’s Janelle,” before she ducked away from the circus.

They clearly (for the most part) enjoy the attention, but it was odd. It felt a bit like visiting a human zoo.
