Instagram Ban

Pls help. I’m 17, and I was trading with individuals on Instagram (pretty sure they were above 18), which I thought was okay because the age of consent is 16 in Canada. Turns out this does not apply to anything online which I was not aware of. I’m 17 years old, I will naturally be into people my age or slightly above my age. But I was banned (not device banned, but all my accounts were banned and I made a new personal one) on Instagram for CSAM. I was the child in this case, and it was because I was sending things of myself. Additionally, I did send to multiple people, but only because I was under the impression that this was all legal. I was only made aware of the fact today, once I did a little more research. What are the chances I get into some really big trouble? Or that police will get involved? I feel like I was lied to and robbed of my dignity. Please help. If I knew this was not allowed I would’ve never done it.
