How do you streamline BLW meal prep so a nanny can handle plating?
I work from home and I’m the main food prep person for my 12 month old. I usually have a mix of foods ready at any given time- some frozen (like veggie stew), some refrigerated (roasted veggie spears, leftover proteins), and some fresh (avocado, fruit).
When I make a meal, I’m normally pulling from 3–4 places: • defrosting something from the freezer • adding a couple fridge items • slicing something fresh • trying to keep variety from meal to meal
Right now, about 10 minutes before each meal/snack, I run downstairs to heat and plate everything for the nanny, then run back to work. But it breaks my workflow multiple times a day. He's on 3 meals and 2 snacks a day.
My question:
What is the most efficient, organized system for handing off meal plating to a nanny when my own process feels so scattered? How do you streamline BLW meals so someone else can plate them without needing you to assemble all the components each time?
I know I can ask my nanny directly but we have a bit of a language barrier, and plus I've learned that she works best with clear specific instructions (if I'm even a bit vague she usually forgets to do a whole bunch of stuff, etc).
Thanks!
