Thoughts on Sharing location?? 24M and 24F

Why would '24M' ask me '24F' to share my location and keep it on? For background We did see eachother a while back maybe 2 years ago and and recently rekindled. I did share it one time just when he needed my location to come to where I was at that day I sent it and realized a week later and had it on for days before I noticed I forgot to unshare it. So I unshared it not thinking too much about it .. a day later He then asked why I turnt it off and I said I didn’t know I was sharing it for so long and turnt it off when I realized a few days after he came that day he then proceeds to ask me to turn it On and keep it on? What even is the reason
