Prime 4 questions

It was interesting to find out in the memory cutscene right before the final boss confirms that Sylux was a former Galactic Federation soldier, and he feels betrayed by her. At least that was my interpretation. Those random flashes of a war Samus experiences throughout the game are interesting as well. Was that something that already happened or something that will happen? If it's in the future then how did Sylux get to the past? What caused all this? It has to be more than just to space pirates. I wonder if it has anything to do with that memory seed? Also what is up with those new Metroids? Why do they kinda behave like X parasites? I'm sure those will be explored more in the next game but man they disappear from the game almost just as fast as they are introduced.
