“MIL” finally showed her true colors 🙌

So my man’s mom finally showed her true colors and he has seen the light!! I have so many mixed feelings about it, but more than anything is the relief he sees it. She is one of “those” boy moms who thinks it’s a competition of who is his favorite and number one. I’ve never gotten involved in that and always played the respectful kind partner role to her. She has apparently been fighting with him since our gender reveal she made all about herself about me setting boundaries that we agreed on, but I was the “dictator”. She escalated things so extreme when she visited during Thanksgiving I ended up in easy L&D at 22 weeks, she was still at our house (she lives 13 hours away) and made up stories about how she thought she had a heart attack and fell in the middle of night. She couldn’t keep her stories straight and it was just attention seeking. My sweet soul of a man was devastated because of how terrible she treated me and was scared I’d leave him because of her actions. I just wanted to share a portion of the story to show that there is hope with bad “mil”s. If yall want the long version it’ll make anyone feel better I promise 🤣 but keep your heads up and I hope yall have less stress than I did for the holidays, but I’m relieved to know I don’t have to interact with her anymore than bare minimum if any and I’m supported by my man for it.
