You can be site banned for calling for pit bull bans.

Just an FYI, I received a 7 days site wide ban (even after appeal) for calling for Pit bulls to be banned.

The thread was about cat declawing being banned and the comment I responded to had shifted towards banning Pit bulls. I said they need to be banned, and pures/mixes need to be neutered to ensure they don't continue the breed if they are banned.

I did not say the breed should be killed or harmed. I did not say anything else other than what I just stated.

This violated a Reddit rule about calling against violence to animals. I was site banned for 7 days, and appealed on the 2nd day to be denied. With a couple of these you could receive a site wide Perma ban.

Be careful out there, all it takes is a couple of Pit bull loving mods to end your account.
