New Race Marshall

Perhaps I’ve missed a few steps, but it appears that Dan Carter was just announced as Race Marshall. Isn’t this the position that was held by Mark, who in the last day was exposed for sending disrespectful texts to the musher who missed the rookie meeting?

If I have those details correct, how does the hive mind feel about this? From my uninformed perspective, it’s nice to see them oust someone who wasn’t necessarily acting appropriately.

While I wish Dan the best, I don’t know anything about his involvement in the community.
