Letter Opener and Paper Knife (United States)

Questions

acquired at estate sale in NC. Based on other items in the sale and some random googling believe these to be from 1920's/1930's, letter opener is possibly a bit later. Looking for any info re: possible maker, years, value etc.

Paper knife was described as Sterling and Bone. There are a few chips along the edge and tip. It is marked sterling but i see no other marks. It is approx 18" long

Sword Letter opener has a monogram on one side of the scabbard. The scabbard is lightly magnetic so the opener stays firmly attached when in the scabbard. The sword has toledo marked on one side. Quite a few toledo letter openers are shown online but i haven't seen anything like this one and nothing that notes the scabbard as magnetic. Total length in the scabbard is approx 9 inches
Any insights are these pieces are appreciated
