Her clothes can’t keep up

She has more than doubled her weight since we got together. The first time she outgrew all her clothes at once she just randomly started showing up with new clothes. It was winter so she wore lots of layers. She thought I couldn’t tell. The second time it was the summer and she was doomed from the start. Her butt was way too big for her shorts. Her regular shorts became booty shorts…but she still wore them. She also wore a lot of her old shirts because she didn’t want to buy a whole new wardrobe right away. Her belly hung out of everything. And she wore her old bikinis when we went to the beach the first few times but she literally started to “spill out” the last time.

Now it’s the winter again, and it took her so long to get her jeans on this morning… I swear it’s twice a year she’s asking for thousands of dollars for new clothes. Every time I ask why she just looks down at the ground and shyly says…”you know…” And I do. Why is it so hot to watch her spill out of everything all the time?
