(US) (Budget ~$1800) Looking for 2-in-1. Love the Surface Pro 11 but not loving Windows on ARM, tempted to go with Intel version but weighing all options.

Laptop Request US
  • Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: 2-in-1. Love the Surface Pro form factor, but figure there may be a better deal for something similar.
  • How important is weight and thinness to you? 9/10. Like I said really into the surface book pro design.
  • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. 13" is the sweet spot where I think using as a tablet is still comfortable.
  • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. CAD (AutoCAD, Rhino), Adobe Suite, light gaming
  • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Old games like modded fallout, skyrim, etc. will use PS5 for battlefield and things like that.
  • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? OLED screen is must. Touchscreen for 2-in-1 and a detachable is the most preferred. Would like to use as a tablet for reading/studying.
  • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I was quite close to ordering the Surface Pro 11 w/ the Intel chip, but at that price point (or below it) I can imagine there may be better deals. The two other laptops I've found that have piqued my interest the most are the PX13 and Zenbook Duo 14. Let me know if I should check anything else out!
