On day 2 of recovery from surgery…it’s hard

They had to cut me open and I have Frankenstein staples on my stomach. I’m in SO MUCH PAIN! I’ve walked once and then threw up. I tried walking again and threw up. I’ve been so nauseated and I can’t eat. I’ve read so many people have a good recovery and are walking and doing good. My experience is the complete opposite. I feel like crap and moving is so painful. I’m praying it gets better. I keep telling myself things will be better in the long run but I’m struggling so bad.

The good news, the doctor was able to connect my large intestine to my colon so my small intestine is in a bag. He said he won’t need to open me up again to connect my small intestine. I hope I’m writing this right my doctor was speaking to me like I knew all these medical terms lol but from what he said eveything went well. I feel like shit. And I hope it gets better
