How to stop overspending in Toronto ?
I M27 feel like I am addicted. I live in Toronto, Ontario. I think i am spending too much on random shit and needed help with finances. I feel like a crazy addict and can’t stop. After, analyzing myself and carefully tracking what I was spending my money on. Here is the breakdown:
Income: 8750 before and 6400 after tax
1). Studio Rent $1800 in Toronto (including utilities)
2). WiFi and mobile bill- $130
- Groceries - 200
4). Car insurance and fuel- $500
4.1). Gym ~ $30
In these 4 basic things - 2660 is gone (left 3740)
Now, I get carried away for junk food and all other random stuff. I tried to control but I feel like yolo. List of some stupid items, maybe cut down on:
PS: I want to seek help and moral support to quit this by seeing a consultant but I can’t stop this.

Monster/redbull - $100
-
cig@rattes - ~$120
7). DoorDash/eating out ~400
8). vodka/whiskey ~ $200
9). Skincare ~100
10). Clothes ~ 100
11). Rechargeable vape cartridge ~ 100
12). Str!p club ~ $200 (go like once only/month)
13). Dates ~ $150
14). Philanthropy ~$30
15). Haircut ~25
16). Swimming/golf membership ~$500
After all these expenses I have around ~1600 left which I save.
This breakdown is crazy but should I cut down on some things, but I am afraid that what if I don't enjoy enough. I know this is madness but how do you stop it ? What does my fellow Canadians do to control themselves. I need advice on this ?
