Energy “glitch” during sex felt like tectonic plates and I still wonder years later- what happened??

Like 4 years ago I was having sex with a new partner for the first time.

The only way I can think to describe what happened was like energetic tectonic plates shifting that I felt in the space around me and my entire physical and spiritual body, heavily focused in between my eyebrows and radiating through the rest of my body and extended past it.

It was in no way an orgasm or sexual sensation, it just happened during sex while my eyes were closed (which is normal for me).

I had been experimenting with heavy meditation and hallucinogens a lot that year (sober during this experience, however) so I thought maybe it had something to do with that. But then almost immediately after it happened he asked “Did you feel that? It was like a glitch.”

I have never had this happen before, or again after at any time. Has anyone experienced something like this or have any insight as to what you think it could be/mean?

It was so memorable - not enjoyable or unpleasant, just memorable - that I can’t stop thinking about it and have so many questions with no answers.
