I cannot believe I’ve gotten to this point
Hiii!! I quite literally have no one to talk to this about so this is my last option (not even sure how this works)!!
I’m a 16 year old girl and lately I’ve been experiencing health problems and I feel like everyone around me is taking it too lightly. (I could definitely just be over reacting so please be 100% honest). For the past year and a half I’ve been getting really dizzy, and my eyes blur whenever I stand up. It usually only lasts a few second and sometimes my toes and tongue tingles, it has never gotten dangerous so I haven’t really spoke to much about except for the occasional conversation with my parents about it.
Around nov 12 I passed out when getting out of the bathtub. When I told my parents they just assumed that the water was too hot and it wasn’t something to worry about. So again I just brushed it off even tho I felt a little off
On December 7th when I stood up and walked a few steps to my parents room I started getting really dizzy, I thought it was just how I usually act when it happens so I held onto the door frame and stood there. But this time I didn’t immediately snap back, my head started shaking and my mom said I had this “dead look” on my face, my dad caught me and then I snapped back out of it. I remembered a few months ago, something similar happened where I started shaking a little but it wasn’t nearly as long or harsh
I went to the hospital right after that, they determined that my heart rate jumped from 90 when sitting down to 120 when standing up. All they did was recommend me to drink more water.
It has been 2 days since then and I’ve still been feeling off, I went back to school today and I have been feeling really drowsy and lost. When I told my parents they kind of just brushed it off and told me I have to go to school for the rest of the week. I have a follow up doctors appointment in 3 days and I’m hoping to get answers, but I’m really worried my doctor is just going to brush it off like everyone else. I’m no doctor but I’m pretty familiar with my body and I know this isn’t normal, at-least for me.
If you have any idea or guesses of what’s happening please let me know!! I’ll also be opened to any feedback or advice, I just want to feel better!!!
