New player, 6k in about 35 days. Need advice

So I’m probably going to get trolled but as the title says, I’ve spent 6k in 35 days and I no longer want to play the game as I’m quite competitive and I know this is the type of game where you need to spend tens of thousands which I simply don’t want to do.

I came across this game as an AD from a Pokémon trading app I was using and this is a completely different to what I was expecting, I was thinking a simple game I could play a couple hours before bed then uninstall, a few hours later I’m reeled in and a few days after the spending starts, of course I only have myself to blame

I’m going through a lot of stress in life and wanted to take my mind off it all by playing this game, I’m not in any financial debt and not meaning to sound ignorant or anything but this hasn’t put much of a dent on my finances, but considering how quick I’ve spent 6k in just over a month, I don’t want to be spending that much every month because then it will become a big problem, so I want to stop now before it’s too late.

I’m wondering on what I should do? Should I just give my account to someone in the alliance and quit and take it as a lesson to not play mobile games? Maybe even try to refund through the App Store if that’s even possible?
