OMG, just finished watching 12 Years a Slave again. Hits so hard every time.

Solomon was a free man. A talented violinist. Then he got tricked. Kidnapped and sold. Horrifying stuff.

Twelve years of pure hell. Brutal plantations. But he never gave up. Always fought for freedom. A good guy, Samuel Bass, helped him. Got a letter out.

His wife got help. Finally, he was free. Reunited with his family. What a journey.

Can't believe his captors walked free. That's messed up. Seriously, if you haven't seen it, watch it. It's powerful.
