"Sales demos take too long to customize for each prospect - how do you personalize quickly?"
Doing 15-20 demos a week for our B2B SaaS. Every prospect wants to see how the product works for their specific use case.
problem: im spending 2-3 hours before each demo customizing my demo deck and demo environment to show their industry, their workflow, their pain points.
this is killing me. im spending more time on demo prep than actual selling.
tried having a generic demo but conversion dropped because prospects dont see how it applies to them specifically.
tried having industry-specific demos but then i need 8 different demo decks and i cant keep them all updated.
how do high-performing sales reps handle personalization at scale? what's your process for customizing demos without spending hours on each one?
do you:
- use some kind of template system?
- have a demo library and mix/match slides?
- just wing it and customize on the fly?
- hire someone to prep demos for you?
need to figure this out because im turning down demos now because i cant keep up with the prep work.
