Party advice??

I only recently started celebrating my birthday with friends after years of being alone for my birthday and I’m at a loss of ideas… I don’t have enough friends for a big party or event (or enough money for that lol), I don’t have a friend group so most of my friends are extremely different people and all have very different personalities and interests. I don’t want to repeat last year‘s birthday as it was too expensive (bowling, dinner and coming back for some homemade stuff)

To put my friends in perspective I have a younger male friend who is the kindest boy I’ve ever known who is a massive nerd and loves music, an older male friend who is a massive gamer and says some problematic things sometimes which I have to correct him on (he’s always very understanding and apologetic), a would be chav in another life but is actually super sweet and shows affection through playful fighting and triplets who are extremely crafty, nerdy amazing and funny people (one of them being my girlfriend.)

I’m thinking of doing a home bbq but then what would I do for things to do?? The only thing they share enjoyment for is board games but is there anything else I could possibly do that everyone would enjoy? The party would be in spring and needs to be of an affordable budget!!!
