Temporary filling post root canal
Today I had a root canal done on tooth 31. I had it done by the endodontic department at my local dental school. The doctor placed a temporary filling, and I have an appointment at the school with an undergraduate student for crown fitting and placement on February 4.
The endodontic student and staff are aware of this timeframe, and said that my temporary should last fine. Assuming I take good care of that particular tooth, which I intend to do, should I be OK until the placement of my crown? I’m always looking for reassurance as an anxious patient. Thanks!
