cuz I didn't get the support of my family when I was a teenager, so I hope my children will never feel isolated

I have three girls. The eldest is a somewhat well-known writer, the second is a researcher, and the youngest works as a bartender and dancer at a club. some awful people often belittle her job and mock her for it, but I truly believe she’s doing great work. Sometimes she asks me whether she’s useless since she’s neither as talented as her eldest sister nor as intelligent as her second sister. I tell her that she is thoughtful and level-headed, and in that respect she’s even better than her oldest sister. Besides, I really enjoy the drinks she makes — they’re absolutely the best I’ve ever had. As for my writer daughter, her views and mine don’t always align. I think it’s cause her upbringing and personality differ from mine, so if we can’t fully understand each other, that’s alright. Everyone has their own ways of thinking and their own character. There’s no need to argue about who is right or wrong. I love each one of them. They are my dear family, and I will always support them. And I’ve never made them feel indebted to me just because I raised them. Since I brought them into this world, it is my responsibility to take care of them. I don’t want them to feel burdened by expectations or guilt. Lastly, I’m glad they have never felt the need to apologize for simply existing.
