JTE loves using AI

This is a mix of rant & asking advice. I work at a couple high schools and with 9 JTEs between all my classes and grades. All of us have our quirks and differences, but for the most part we work together. But I have one JTE who has “discovered” AI and I am losing my ever loving mind.

Many of the teachers send me outlines of a lesson plan and I’ll make worksheets and slideshows to go along with it. He handed me a four page lesson plan, clearly AI written. Couldn’t make heads not tails of most of it, but I could understand the prompt that was put into AI for it to generate such nonsense.

So I spent my little free time (most other classes wanted holiday lessons so I’ve been focused on that) creating a worksheet and slideshow. He tells me today the instructions, which I copied verbatim from his lesson plan, are too complicated. He said my worksheet is too difficult. O
