Travelling before ECOPR is granted

Hello everyone,

Wanted to get your help on this. I got my P2 email on November 7th. However, it is now December 9th and I still haven’t received my ECOPR. On my P1 email, I informed IRCC on my response that I will be travelling from December 12th to January 9th. Obviously, ideally I’d cancel my travel plans but in this specific scenario I absolutely cannot. IRCC never acknowledged my travel plans indicated. I emailed them again two weeks later and submitted two web forums since which were spread apart. I called IRCC yesterday and all they said was that they can see on my P1 email that I’d indicated my travel plans but cannot guarantee that the officer read it or will consider it. I then called the MP office. They said IRCC never knew of my travel plans so asked that I send them my itinerary so that they can attach it to my application (not sure what that will do).

My question is: is any of this normal? It feels like IRCC should be telling me something here or responding with some guidance.

Also, has anyone attached their itinerary to their application before? If so what does that do?

Any help or thoughts would be heavily appreciated
