LOOK: New spines of dark lava have been extruded from Mayon Volcano's summit lava dome. These changes were observed from December 8 to 10, 2025 and signal the presence of new and shallow magma within the edifice. The extrusion led to the increase of rockfall from the 2025 average of 3 events.
