What are some good comic graphic novels or compendium for a Xmas present that have not been overused like the Marvel/DC series over the last 20-30 years ?

I’m looking for advice on some good 80s/90s comic books/graphic novels/compendium outside of the really popularized ones that have been in no. Stop movies and repeated so much.
