[Feedback] Why is there a ping limit on PvE?

Sometimes the game puts me in a shitty server in a region with high ping (I play with friends in the US), fine I can live with it.

But why the actual fuck am I being kicked for high ping in PvE? Who am I hurting by having a high ping? Why should I be penalised for playing with friends because of shitty ass servers?
