I was tired of just "collecting" tasks instead of doing them. So I built a ruthless Eisenhower Matrix tool.
Body:
Hi everyone,
Like many of you, I used to maintain long to-do lists. I would cross off plenty of items every day, yet I still felt anxious because the truly important goals weren't moving forward. I was being "busy," but not productive.
To fix this, I built Focus Matrix. It’s not just a task list; it’s an energy management tool designed to help you invest in the "Important & Not Urgent" (Q2).
How is it different from a standard checklist?
- Eisenhower Matrix Core: Instead of a flat list, you drag and drop tasks into four quadrants. It forces you to constantly evaluate priority over urgency.
- AI Auto-Classify: Don't know where a task belongs? The built-in Gemini AI analyzes your task title to automatically sort it into the right quadrant and even estimates the duration for you.
- Hardcore Mode: This is my favorite feature. When enabled, it disables the ability to drag and reorder active tasks. It forces you to clear the list and face reality instead of endlessly reshuffling tasks.
- Habit Tracking & Insights: I combined habits with tasks. You can track your "Velocity" and see your "Energy Allocation" breakdown to understand your flow rhythm.
Tech Stack: React + Vite + Supabase + Google Gemini. It's a PWA, so you can add it directly to your phone's home screen for a native app experience.
I'd love to hear your feedback!
