Is it that much hard to make new friends 😞

I’m in my 2nd year of BSc Computer Science, and I’ve noticed something about my college environment. Most classmates don’t seem genuinely interested in what they’re doing. The behaviour feels strange many girls act arrogant or distant, some are unnecessarily cringe, and the boys mostly try to show attitude.

I’ve always tried to start conversations respectfully and make people comfortable, but no one seems genuinely interested in talking to me. Groups form easily around others, but not around me. It makes me wonder whether I’m not good enough to mix with them.

I’ve tried not to judge anyone and kept giving people chances, but the vibe just never matches. Everything feels fake, like everyone is pretending in front of each other, and I simply don’t connect with that
