Muay Thai gym near me with INSANE price…
I have trained at 2 Muay Thai gyms across 1 year. I haven’t trained in a few months but want to start again soon. The other day, I found a gym RIGHT by my house with a huge Muay Thai banner on it. Literally 3 minutes walking distance. It’s in Los Angeles.
The thing is…. It’s 10 bucks a class. As in, no monthly subs, no cancelation fees, nothing. You show up, Zelle them 10 bucks, and train.
Considering the place I was at before this was known as one of the most budget friendly MT gym near me, and that place was $190 a month, I’m having trouble wrapping my head around $10 a class. Has anyone trained at a gym so inexpensive, especially in Los Angeles?
Are there any red flags for me to look out for? The place looked tiny, and relatively clean when I walked in. There were younger people (teens, by the look of it) training when I checked it out. Could be focused more on children’s classes?
As a person with 1 year experience, and no sparring (yet), will I be fine if this place is kinda…. Beginner level? How would I be able to tell? Obviously, money isn’t an issue, but I’d hate to dedicate a year or so of my time to a school that may not be the most effective.
