What would you do?

In short, we hired a Doula and her work schedule has been conflicting with the services she has provided and she almost missed the birth of our baby arriving 15 minutes before the baby was born (even though I contacted her three hours prior and she is local). I pretty much labored by myself with my husband providing some physical support where he could. We’ve been trying to schedule the overnight postpartum visit that our doula is adamant about providing, but her work schedule keeps getting in the way. Should we ask for a partial refund or just chalk it up as a loss?
