Tips for how to differentiate good escape room businesses? And what rooms to book?

Going on a trip this weekend and everyone thought an escape room would be fun. They all have done maybe 1-3 each and I’ve done about 10 total and usually end up doing one a year between friends or family.

We are going to Wisconsin Dells (specific recommendations also welcome!) so there are about 5 total choose from, but just in general how do you pick where to book rooms at?

It tends to be hard to tell by the pictures and the reviews generally are all good, but like other entertainment I assume most people will say almost everything is “good” unless it was actively bad. I’d like to find the best ones available, and would rather do one that is high quality and designed well, rather than focus just on a theme and be a single office room with a few posters.
