M95 safety quirks

Is it normal on m95s the saftey will only “snap” to engage the safety but when taking the safety off it doesn’t snap into the “off position” also while it’s in the off position it’s quite loose and you can easily push it into a halfway kind of position. When it’s in this halfway position and you pull the trigger the saftey gets knocked all the way to “off”
