What are benefits of applying for Bajaj emi card offline?

So I trying to buy a product but also I don't want to put all of my money at once for buying it as it will serve me in more than one way as I just got my cibil score geenrated via Amazon pay later with limit 2k only, so with the help of bajaj emi card I am trying to create my credit history with this purchase of higher amount than ususal.

So I thought about getting it online but I read that I will have to create my first transaction offline, so I went to croma to inquire about them they asked me to apply it offline only as he can make "some arrangements" he didn't explained me anything as what type of arrangements he can make. So I need your help here, why is it good idea to apply it offline? and what is he talking about?
