Sold a fake

My daughter is absolutely desperate for a maple leaf Jellycat. Her uncle emigrated to Canada and was unable to get her one and it’s all she’s been asking for. So a friend of mine said she could get me one of Facebook with swap with the teabag Jellycat which I bought for Christmas but knew she’d rather have the maple leaf. Seemed like a good swap to me. She sorted it all out and now it’s arrived and it’s a clear fake. I’m absolutely gutted.
