Question on filling out W-9

I need to fill out at W-9 for the first time on Mercari. I'm wondering if I fill it out as an individual for this year, am I able to update it as a business and change my SSN to my business TIN next year?

Started out just selling for myself, but considering getting a business TIN at the start of the year.
