Times New Roman......

Left is Canary Mail. Right is Spark.

I almost thought I had finally found an alternative from Spark. Just before I came across the fact that Canary Mail displays plain text mails in hideous Times New Roman and there is no way to get around it.

And also that the first time the issue was raised was 4 years ago.
Found another post in reddit 2 years ago that received a single comment saying it will be passed to a wishlist.

And after all these years I come across this issue again.

Is this really that hard to fix or at least give an option in preference to set a different default font? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm going to have to switch back to Spark because of this. I'm pretty sure there are many more users who have silently ditched Canary mail after seeing this. Though I doubt many even bother to post something online, send a support ticket... they'll just silently move on. So here's another post after 4 years to remind you that this
