Being a new user on reddit feels like trying to get credit with no credit.

Nothing I've posted stays up. Auto moderators? Downvotes? Am I just that uninteresting? I just saw a post by an 18yo girl. Sure, that's interesting. But what about for the boring masses? I don't know man, how substantive can all these subreddits be if they're all catering to, well just another algorithm. Or what does it say about us when we feed into it. "Oh I'm not immediately interested in what you have to say so, downvote..." It seems a particularly salient point here. I don't just feel lonely now, reddit's kind of making me feel worthless...
