Skilled Nursing Facility calling at 11pm for routine issue

My mom developed a rash when she was in the hospital. She was seen by a dermatologist. The told me they were going to put a medicated cream on it. Yesterday I noticed the rash was still there and I asked the nurse in the SNF/rehab if they’re still doing that and she said yes.

As I was plugging in my phone to go to bed tonight I noticed a missed call from the SNF at 10:56 pm.

I called back worried something bad happened.

They said the rash isn’t getting better so they’re going to use a stronger medication 3 times a day.

I was like. Ok sure whatever the doctor says.

And then I said can you please not call after 9pm unless it’s an emergency?

And they said they need my consent for all prescription drug changes and wanted it in her chart for the morning.

Am I insane.
