Festive holiday ideas

My little guy just turned 5, ive never been a very festive person

Thank god his mama is healthy, sober and able to have him for the holiday at her dad's house. She is a good mom

Thankfully with the help of my dad across the country, I was able to get some gifts for my kid. Hes a very good boy and deserves the world.

Im asking for ideas on how to make this time of year special for a 5 year old. Im the opposite of creative, and used to be a scrooge. Looking not even gift ideas, more like activities, things we can do together that hopefully will warm his heart and give him good memories. Im open to all suggestions <3
