Can I sub Godiva dark chocolate liqueur for dark creme de cacao?

Local stores only had the clear creme de cacao and I need it to sit nice and dark at the bottom of the glass while I pour in some creme de menthe mixed with heavy cream. Is the Godiva dark the same color as dark creme de cacao or is it a hot-cocoa-like color? I can't imagine the taste would be a whole lot different, right? Sounds like the Godiva will be creamier but, hey, I'm adding heavy cream so that ship has sailed.
