My cat isn’t acting like he used to… and honestly, it’s breaking my heart

Honestly, I never thought I’d write something like this, but I feel like I need to talk to people who understand. I have a kitten I raised from just two months old. He used to be so clingy—sleeping on my chest, following me everywhere, running to me the moment I got home.

But in the past few weeks, he’s changed a lot. He doesn’t want to come near me anymore, he runs away, and even when I try to play with him, he hisses and makes that angry sound. I feel like someone I’m close to suddenly decided to push me away without any explanation.

I know it might seem small to some people, but he was the one thing that made me feel safe and comforted in an otherwise empty home. Now I don’t understand: is he sick? upset? or just doesn’t want me around anymore?

Honestly, it’s been hard. I just watch him from afar, and my heart aches… wondering if I did something wrong without realizing it.
