Genuine question: What got you into anime?

I actually read manga before I knew anime was even a thing. I dabbled in Dragonball Z, One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist, Black Cat, and only really found out about anime when I saw a cousin had a dvd for Dragonball Z, and boy let me tell you, watching the Freiza fight for the first time was the best experience I’ve ever had!

What was your origin story for anime?
