winch wiring recommendations

I like to do some off-roading with my '24 RRS and don't know anyone else so I'm always alone. So I thought having a winch would be quite useful. I don't want to front mount it to mess with the bumper and all that. I'd be having to pay someone to get into all those mods and I'm not in an area where there is really anyone skilled in those mods for this type of vehicle.

I discovered there are hitch mount winch kits however I then discovered the trailer power plug isn't enough to carry the amperage that winches need so the winch will still need directly wired to the battery.

So the request here is how to go about routing those wires to the battery ? Again, I'm not skilled with tearing apart a vehicle especially an expensive one. I figured I'd try finding a shop to do this and relay the recommendations in case they needed assistance. Or depending on the level of involvement I could attempt it myself first. If I have to remove any interior panels though I probably won't even attempt it. Is there a chance the wire can be routed on the exterior for any of the distance to the battery?
