how i fixed the 'ghost town' look on a new page (without buying bots)
I've been lurking here and seeing the same struggle: you launch a page, post your best content, and... silence. It feels like shouting into the void because the algorithm ignores you for the first 90 days.
The common advice is "just be consistent." I tried that, but I realized that posting consistently mediocre content just made my brand look like a hobby project. With 12 followers, low production value screams "scam" or "amateur."
I decided to flip the strategy: If I can't have social proof (followers), I need production proof.
I started using an ads agent workflow to generate my initial content batch. Instead of posting raw phone pics, I fed the agent my product shots and it spit out fully edited 15-second commercial-style videos with voiceovers and "expensive" looking environments.
The shift was immediate. Even with low followers, the page *looks* like a funded brand now. People are actually staying on the profile because the visuals signal "we have a budget" (even though I absolutely don't).
It's not perfect--I still have to re-roll the scripts sometimes to sound less robotic--but it bridges that awkward gap where you look like an NPC account.
Are you guys prioritizing quantity or quality for those first 100 followers?
