A few guides claiming to enable Bluetooth in KOreader: true, or it depends?

Ayo, I've worked thru a few guides from 2024 / 2025 with solutions that claim they can enable Bluetooth on KOreader. I've worked thru the mobile reads guide for the Libra Color (+ the guide for installing the koreader Bluetooth plugin). No such luck for me, though I have successfully connecting my JoyCon to the out of the box Nickel launcher.

I'm trying to suss out if other people on the Libra Color with KOreader have successfully connected a page turner to that launcher, or if it's still in the "feature request" bucket for newer Kobo devices.

If at least a few people say they have gotten it to work, then I know it's worth my time to start sifting thru logs and error codes, and tinkering (which I love).

Don't want to invest any more time into this though if the consensus is it's not currently possible (due to xyz things I've also read in GitHub issues, forums, etc).
