Looking for recommendations for a premium ship in tier 8 through 10

I've been playing a lot recently and have acquired enough resources to acquire a premium T8-10 ship. I am currently playing a lot at T6 (Ise, Ryujo, and tier 9 Seattle). I love playing hybrids but I purchased the Kearsarge a few months ago ... played it (it was terrible and no fun) so I sold it.

What would you recommend in the hybrid/carrier classes in T8-10? I have considered the Kaga and am considering spending all my steel (with coupon) on a T10 Barbiano, just because I can.
