Your personal top 20

Hey y’all! Someone’s probably done this before but I’m wondering what everyone’s top 20 favorite songs are, considering how diverse XTCs music is over the years. Feel free to make it a top 10 or top 5 also lol, and include Dukes stuff if you want

Mine would be:

1. King for a Day
2. Then She Appeared (greatest love song ever imo)
3. Generals and Majors
4. Across this Antheap
5. The Wheel and the Maypole
6. Statue of Liberty
7. Easter Theatre
8. Senses Working Overtime
9. Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead
10. Mayor of Simpleton
11. That’s Really Super, Supergirl
12. Dukes- 25 O Clock
13. Church of Women
14. Toys
15. This World Over
16. Great Fire
17. Living Through Another Cuba
18. Ten Feet Tall
19. Dying
20. Seagulls Screaming Kiss Her, Kiss Her

Honorable mentions: Nigel, Madam Barnum, Reign of Blows, River of Orchids

Nonsuch is def my favorite album, and I generally like their older stuff more (even though obviously every album is at least great). I’m surprised I don’t have more standouts from Drums & Wires but I think that’s because I tend to listen to that album as one long song without much differentiation
