Need help with removing old dye out of my hair with least damage possible

General Questions

Hi everyone! So like my title states I’m trying to remove some old dye from my hair that has significantly grown out and is only on one side (used to be a split dye). Five years ago i was using clairol natural instincts semi permanent box dye to dye it black, there were a few layers of that however I haven’t used it since 2022/2023 i believe. I ended up switching to pulp riot noir to keep it dark as it would fade to brown very quickly, and eventually ended up just getting semi permanent black at my hair salon every couple months until just over a year ago. The dye has since faded to a medium brown and my natural colour has grown out to just under chin length.

I’ve tried colour removers, the revolution pro which has worked well for me before but did nothing for me this time, and the colour oops extra strength colour remover. Neither lifted the dye AT ALL. I’m a little scared to use bleach as my hair is long and already really thin and fine so i’m looking for the least damage possible. I’m wondering if the box dye has all grown out now and I need a remover that’s meant for direct dyes like pulp riot, but i’m not sure what that would be or if it would be effective. I would love some advice!!
