Check your car registration & insurance info now!

I'll try to make this short: last night I got pulled over because after my plate was scanned, it showed my car hasn't been registered all year! Thankfully I had my registration and insurance info with my ID, so I got away with a written warning.

HOWEVER, when I went online to go pay for my registration, it showed me that I have compliance issues with my insurance and my property taxes on my car have not been paid. My insurance automatically renews and I have automatic paymemts for that which I've had no issue with. Not to mention, I already paid property taxes on my car, including a late fee, because for whatever reason I'm still registered in the town I used to live in 🙃

I don't know if it's for all of the USA or just the state I live in (CT), but my mom mentioned to me that the DMV has had issues with keeping track of people's car insurance showing that they don't have any at all or have compliance issues when they clearly do not.

And apparently, the DMV has not been sending people mail to remind them to register their car or any other car payment information that is needed. I guess everything is online now, BUT you have to check off to get email and/or text notifications yourself on the DMV website after you sign in.

So much for having a relaxing day off from work 🫠 Oh yeah, did I mentioned I have a doctor's appointment today, my blood pressure has been through the roof when I'm trying to get approved stimulant medication to help my brain?? THIS IS NOT HELPING 😭
